“You don’t know what you have, until you USE it!”- Ebube Agu
Are you thinking to yourself; “That sounds familiar… Where have I heard that before?”
Yeah, Yeah, I know. The popular quote says “You don’t know what you have, until you lose it”, but I rather tell you about using what you have over losing it.
So I was speaking with a special friend of mine (if you know what I mean *winks*) some days ago, and I told her, see eh, you don’t know what you have, until you use it, and it just struck me. This speaks of so many things and touches many areas of our lives. My head is palpitating with examples to give to clarify what I mean.
Using what you have speaks of putting it into use for the purpose for which it was made, it means putting value on what you have, making the most of what you have.
To value what you have, you don’t have to lose it, you have to use it.
Some of you don’t know you have the gift of leadership.
Some of you don’t know you have the gift of organization.
Some of you don’t even know you have the gift of oratory.
There are so many things locked up in you that you are yet to discover, how can you value what you didn’t know you had, even if you lose it, how will you know if you never knew that you had it in the first place.
The question here, is not about Losing what you have, it’s about Discovering what you have.
3 VITAL QUESTIONS
- What do you have?
- What do you have that you’re not Using?
- What do you have that you’re yet to discover?
This is a wake up call!!!
Begin the search… Kick start the discovery process.
Allow yourself become (at least) HALF of what You were meant to be, by discovering (at least) HALF of what You have that you’re meant to be using.
