“Who You Gat?”

Nowadays, A lot of emphasis is now laid on “Who You Gat?“, who you know and those sort of things.

One of the greatest causes of unhappiness (& lack of fulfillment) is the feeling of entitlement. That is, when people feel they’re being owed something, Love, Money, Favour, Respect or something. People feel the World needs to cater to their emotional, material and all other kind of needs.

Y’all need to wake up. Seriously! We all need to wake up. Intentionally! You were given the same platform everyone else was given in order to succeed; LIFE!!!

When you rely on other people for approval, connection, help etc you place your joy and the direction of your life in the hands of someone who also has their life to Live.

Say to yourself: “No one owes me anything!” When we realize this, it’s like taking over the reins of your life, it’s a great feeling, and a great step to living happy, fulfilled and successful.

You notice that this behavior pattern is consistent and recurrent nowadays, so people don’t want to step out and try new things, they want everything to be given.

Hey, I’m not saying don’t leverage on the connections you might have from friends and family, but I’m saying, DON’T depend on them.

The only thing you can ever basically vouch for is your own actions (which is not even entirely certain), so why not bet on yourself instead of hoping that somehow, sometime, someone else’s actions will give you what you need, make you happy and set you up for life.

“I swear by my life and my love of it that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.” Ayn Rand

Instead of focusing on who you Gat and all, why not rather spend and invest on WHO YOU ARE?

And decide that Your Life is Yours to Live & Your success and happiness should be (almost) ENTIRELY dependent on You.

Grace & Peace.
