One of the hardest things to do is admit you were wrong (well at least to me that’s really hard). Many of us find it so hard to do, some actually go as far as to say “I don’t do apologies” and I’m always right and things like that.

When I hear such things, I’m inclined to be disappointed because not taking corrections & advice from people on matters is a very short sighted way of living.

“Do you see a man who is wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.” Proverbs 26:12 (ESV)

People that don’t know, and find it hard to acknowledge that they don’t know could be referred to as foolish (I didn’t say it, the quote did), no one likes to be called foolish, yet a lot of us don’t like to be corrected, you can’t have both you know.

Are you looking for Wisdom, do you seek to get better each day, then you need to “man up” and accept when you’re wrong.

I’ve met people that I admire so much, people who don’t bat an eyelid before accepting correction, people who are quick to change a bad character of theirs, pointed out by someone, these are the heroes.

We should all be learners, ever so quick to learn, ever so quick to get better day by day.

So learn to Face when you’re wrong, stomach it and get better.

Grace & Peace!
